Can I Sideload Apps on Philips Smart TV?
Is your favorite app not available on your Philips Smart TV? Don’t worry. You can download those apps on your Philips TV via sideloading the app’s APK. The sideloading process will only work for users who own Philips Android and Google TV users.
You need to install the Downloader app from the Play Store application to sideload applications on your Philips Android TV and Philips Google TV.
- First, open the TV Settings on your Philips TV and enable the Unknown Sources option.
- Now, open Downloader on TV and paste the APK link for the app into the app’s search tab. Hit the Go button.
- Click Download, and then select Install to sideload the app on your Philips Smart TV.
